MOSCOW, October 14 (RIA Novosti) - Russian tennis players Yelena Likhovtseva and Vera Zvonaryova advanced Friday to the Kremlin Cup semifinals in women's doubles, and Igor Kunitsyn advanced in men's singles.
Likhovtseva and Zvonaryova defeated Kveta Peschke of the Czech Republic and Francesca Schiavone of Italy 6-1, 6-4.
In the semifinals, the Russian pair will face top-seeded Zimbabwean Cara Black and Australian Rennae Stubbs.
Wild card Kunitsyn, who defeated Andrei Pavel of Romania 6-3, 6-2 will face Germany's Nicolas Kiefer in the semifinals.
