MOSCOW, October 11 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's budget surplus in the first nine months of 2005 totaled $27 billion, the Russian Finance Ministry said Tuesday.
Budget revenue during the period was $129 billion, 35% higher than government projections, whereas budget spending was $102 billion, 10.7% higher than expected.
Transfer payments during the period were $88 billion, 95.3% of the planned figure.
