WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – The US Department of the Treasury has lifted sanctions against Jad Dagher, general manager of DK Group, a Beirut-based company that was alleged to have sent Syrian banknotes from Russia to the Central Bank of Syria, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) said in a statement on Tuesday.
"The following [SYRIA] entities have been removed: DAGHER, Jad…DK Group," the OFAC document stated.
