KIEV, October 13 (RIA Novosti) - Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman told RIA Novosti Monday that he had no official information on the purported agreements that Ukraine and the Netherlands have in place regarding the investigation by the Ukrainian search teams into the crash site.
"We can refer only to the official statements made by the leaders of the investigation process. I have no official information," Groisman, who is also heading a Ukrainian state commission to find the causes of the MH17 flight crash, said.
Earlier media reports stated that an agreement was reached between Ukraine and the Netherlands according to which the Ukrainian search teams would investigate the site of the Boeing.
Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur crashed in Ukraine's eastern region of Donetsk on July 17, killing all of the 298 passengers. A preliminary report released by the Dutch Safety Board on the crash suggested that the Boeing was hit by high-energy objects. However, the reasons behind the crash continue to remain unclear.
