SOCHI, October 11 (RIA Novosti) - Russia is interested in joint projects with China in the spheres of agriculture and high-tech industries, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said Saturday in Sochi.
"Now we are talking about the prospects of agriculture. Of particular interest to us is the cooperation and creation of new joint projects in high-tech sectors of our industries. This will allow us to reach the same guidelines that were defined by the leaders of our countries," Rogozin said.
The deputy prime minister also added that he hoped for specification of these areas of work at the Sochi meeting. "I hope that on Monday we will have something new to say to our prime ministers," he said.
Sochi hosts the 18th meeting of the Russian-Chinese commission on preparation of regular meetings of the government heads on Saturday. Rogozin said at the opening of the meeting that it managed to open up new areas for cooperation in the field of industrial development.
