Petrenko called on PACE to launch a fact-finding mission into the circumstances of these military crimes, so that the issue of military crimes committed by Kiev get an adequate response.

"I also want you to ask the council of Europe to condemn all those military crimes that we witnessed over the past months in Donbas - the destruction of civilian population, civil object, social objects, schools, hospitals, infrastructure," Petrenco noted.

He stressed that there is no question of who is responsible for these war crimes, as the people of southeastern Ukraine currently live in dire conditions and they had "definitely never ordered to bomb themselves."
