MOSCOW, September 21 (RIA Novosti) - Moscow is hopeful that the laws, Ukraine adopted last week, will give an impetus to the further development of peaceful dialogue in Ukraine, the Head of the Russian President's Administration Sergei Ivanov stated.

"An entire package of laws has been passed in Ukraine that give a chance of settlement. I believe it will be an impetus to the further development of peaceful dialogue," Ivanov told Rossiyskaya Gazeta in an interview.

The official noted that the Ukrainian authorities are facing a huge amount of work.

"I think President Poroshenko has started to realize that he does not need a war till last, that is to say, till the last Ukrainian," Ivanov added.

"The arrangements achieved have made it possible to halt military actions, even though the peace is still rather fragile. 'The Party of War' has not disappeared in Ukraine; it is very, very strong, but I hope the desire for peace, just wit, will prevail," Ivanov stated.

On September 16, Ukraine's parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, approved a law, submitted by President Petro Poroshenko, to introduce self-administration in parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The bill also states that local elections are to take place in the regions on December 7 and guarantees the right to use Russian or any other language in Ukraine.
