DONETSK, September 14 (RIA Novosti) - Ukrainian pro-government forces handed over all 73 militia hostages as was agreed by Kiev and the authorities of the Donetsk People's Republic, the head of DPR Committee on Prisoners Exchange told RIA Novosti Sunday.

"Seventy-three [prisoners] were given back to us," Daria Morozova said, adding one of the freed captives is Alexei Relke, the once commander of the so-called "South Eastern Militia" group.

It was reported previously that Ukrainian security services brought only 69 prisoners to the swap, which took place in eastern Ukraine, about 30 kilometers to the north of the region's capital city Donetsk.

The hostage exchange follows a groundbreaking ceasefire agreement in Belarusian capital Minsk on September 5 where Ukraine, Russia and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) agreed to exchange all captives held by Kiev and militias in the breakaway eastern regions, in what they described as an "all-for-all" prisoner exchange.
