KIEV, September 13 (RIA Novosti) – Around 100 trucks of Russia’s second convoy carrying humanitarian aid have arrived in Ukraine’s eastern city of Luhansk, according to RIA Novosti reporter.

The Russian trucks are being unloaded, the reporters said.

The rest of the Russian convoy is expected to arrive in the city later in the day.

All 200 Russian vehicles carrying long-awaited humanitarian aid for violence-torn areas of eastern Ukraine underwent customs procedures earlier in the day.

Along the route of the convoy, the members of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic defense forces are ensuring safety of the Russian convoy. The trucks are also escorted by road police vehicles.
