MOSCOW, September 12 (RIA Novosti) – Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko claimed that Kiev would reacquire Crimea with economic means, and not use military force.
"Crimea will be ours again, even by non-military means. I am sure that we will win economic, democratic and liberal competition for minds and sentiment of Crimean residents, because we will be effective, uncorrupted, democratic and free. Living standards in Crimea beyond the administrative border with Ukraine will be much higher. This is the united way we can win the fight for the sentiment of Crimean people", Poroshenko said Friday during his speech at the annual meeting Yalta European Strategy in Kiev.
According to Poroshenko, the same way is right to resolve the crisis in eastern Ukraine.
