MOSCOW, September 8 (RIA Novosti) -Two more passengers from the Malaysia Airlines flight MH17, which crashed in Ukraine in July, have been identified, Malaysian Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said Monday.

According to the Minister, as cited by the local media, the identified passengers were the children of Shell employee Tambi Jiee although their names are yet to be confirmed. 49-year-old Tambi Jiee was travelling with his wife and four children ranging from 13 to 19 years old.

Liow said that to date a total of 199 MH17 victims have been formally identified and 99 more are still undergoing identification.

So far, 33 out of 43 Malaysian passengers and crew on board of MH17 have been repatriated. The bodies of two more victims are scheduled to arrive in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday.

Flight MH17, flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, crashed on July 17 in the Donetsk region, killing all 298 people on board. The reason for the crash remains unknown, Kiev accuses independence supporters in eastern Ukraine of shooting it down but local militia leaders insist that they do not have weapons capable of shooting down a target flying at 32,000 feet.

The Dutch Safety Board in charge of the investigation said it will issue the preliminary report on the Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 crash on September 9.
