On Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin is to hold talks on trade cooperation and the BRICS partnership with South African President Jacob Zuma, the Kremlin press service said Wednesday.

MOSCOW, August 27 (RIA Novosti) - On Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin is to hold talks on trade cooperation and the BRICS partnership with South African President Jacob Zuma, the Kremlin press service said Wednesday.

“Among the main topics – the goals to amplify Russian-South African investment ties and to increase bilateral trade, particularly by increasing the supply of agricultural products from South Africa,” said the press service, adding that particular attention is to be given to cooperation on the implementation of the agreements made at the sixth BRICS summit.

The two presidents are also expected exchange views on a range of current international and regional issues.

President Zuma is currently on a six-day working visit to Russia.
