MOSCOW, August 25 - RIA Novosti. An unknown person has opened fire at a US military base in central Virginia, according to the official statement on Twitter.
US Army Fort Lee has been put on lockdown, and its staff is acting according to the appropriate instructions. The incident occurred in the four-story building of the headquarters for the Army’s Combined Arms Support Command.
The base itself is located approximately 25 miles south the city of Richmond.
