MOSCOW, August 22 (RIA Novosti) - The remains of three more Malaysian passengers of the Malaysia Airlines flight that crashed in Ukraine in July will arrive in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, Malaysian Transport Minister Liow Tiong Lai said in a press conference in the Malaysian capital on Friday.

"The second group will arrive on Sunday, August 24. Hopefully, three bodies will return then, but we can only announce more details on Saturday. Certain documentation needs to be completed," he said.

According to the minister, 30 bodies have been identified so far, but not all of them have been released to Malaysia yet. He denied the claims that the bodies were kept by the Dutch authorities for investigation purposes.

A plane carrying 20 bodies of Malaysian victims of flight MH17 arrived in Kuala Lumpur airport earlier Friday.

National flags are flying at half-mast across Malaysia. Malaysians are to observe a minute’s silence at 10:30 a.m. (02:30 GMT).

Flight MH17 crashed in eastern Ukraine on July 17. All 298 people on board, including 283 passengers and 15 crew members, died in the crash. Their remains were sent to the Netherlands for identification.

Ukrainian authorities claim independence supporters shot down the plane, but the latter say they do not have the means to hit a target flying that high.
