KIEV, August 1 (RIA Novosti) – The full multinational team of 101 experts investigating the cause of the Malaysian Boeing crash in eastern Ukraine arrived at the crash site on Friday, the Ukrainian deputy prime minister said.

“I would like to notice that today the full team of 101 experts arrived at the crash site,” said Volodymyr Hroisman, the Ukrianian deputy prime minister, who also leads Ukraine’s state commission, investigating the disaster.

Hroisman said 10 experts were sent by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), 53 are from the Netherlands and 38 from Australia.

The experts had been unable to reach the destination for four days before they managed to find an alternative route on July 31.

Earlier on Friday, the first group of more than 60 investigators, including experts from the Netherlands, which is leading the investigation, and Australia, as well as OSCE representatives, arrived at the crash site.

The Malaysia Airlines aircraft flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur crashed in eastern Ukraine on July 17. A total of 298 people died in the accident.

Ukrainian authorities claim the plane was shot down by independence supporters, while the latter deny the allegations saying they do not have the means to hit a target flying at that height.
