MOSCOW, August 1 (RIA Novosti) - A team of 70 international experts, including Dutch and Australians, have reached the Malaysian Boeing 777 crash site in eastern Ukraine, Agence France-Presse reported on Friday

“Dutch and Australian experts arrived at the crash site on Friday morning … The 70 experts will conduct search operations in several places at the crash site,” AFP quoted the Dutch Justice Ministry as saying in a statement.

Earlier today the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) said on Twitter that the recovery work on the site “starts immediately.”

Another group of specialists and monitors reached the MH17 site on Thursday, July 31, for the first time within five days. But due to ongoing fighting, which continues despite agreements between the Ukrainian Army and independence supporters, the OSCE team only spent 1.5 hours there.

Later, the OSCE monitoring team’s deputy head, Alexander Hug, said that they would make their way to the crash site by passing around the war-torn regions.

On Friday the monitors used the northern route, which the negotiators of the July 31 Minsk Meeting agreed to protect, to get to the site.

Malaysia Airlines MH17 was a passenger flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur. It crashed on July 17 in Donetsk Region, Ukraine. All 298 people on board, including 192 Dutch citizens, were confirmed dead.

Kiev tried to lay blame for the tragedy on the independence supporters in the east, but the latter claimed not having the means to shoot down a plane at that height.
