ROSTOV-ON-DON, July 27 (RIA Novosti) – Russian border guards has again opened a humanitarian corridor for the Ukrainian side to transport their injured and killed troops, a representative of the Russian Border Guard Service in the Rostov Region Vasily Malaev told RIA Novosti Sunday.
“Six injured and four deceased Ukrainian soldiers were transported to the Russian Novoshakhtinsk checkpoint. In addition, the Ukrainian side is sending three wounded servicemen through Gukovo checkpoint,” Malaev said.
This is not the first humanitarian corridor organized by the Rostov border guards for Ukraine. Earlier Saturday, Kiev requested assistance in the transfer of 30 wounded and killed troops through the Rostov region. The soldiers were delivered by the Russian border guards to the checkpoint Matveyev Kurgan, where Ukraine received them.
