BRICS member-states all speak a common language of business, although their national languages, religions, cultures and views are very different, Onkar Kanwar, the chairman of India’s BRICS Business Council chapter said Monday.

FORTALEZA, July 14 (RIA Novosti), Daria Chernyshova — BRICS member-states all speak a common language of business, although their national languages, religions, cultures and views are very different, Onkar Kanwar, the chairman of India’s BRICS Business Council chapter said Monday.

"We all talk different languages, we have different clothes, have different cultures, but we only understand one language and that is business," Onkar Kanwar told RIA Novosti on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in Fortaleza.

"The common language of business is that Russia has lots of raw materials — it has gas, oil, technology," Kanwar added speaking about the relations between Russia and India.

"We are the consuming country, we need gas and oil. Russia has gas and oil," he continued.

"They [Russia] need lots of consumer goods, India can get that. So it has to be a win-win situation for both countries," Kanwar told RIA Novosti, stressing that "India and Russia have traditionally old relationship."

Russia has a strong dialogue with India, holding annual summits, joint military drills, trade, economic, scientific, technological and cultural cooperation.
