The Ukrainian parliament on Tuesday declined to accept the resignation of acting Defense Minister Ihor Tenyukh.

KIEV, March 25 (RIA Novosti) – The Ukrainian parliament on Tuesday declined to accept the resignation of acting Defense Minister Ihor Tenyukh.

Tenyukh announced his desire to resign earlier on Tuesday during a parliament session.

Of the minimum 226 votes needed to accept his resignation, only 197 voted in favor.
