MOSCOW, November 24 (RIA Novosti) – Eighteen miners were killed and five more trapped underground when a mine collapsed in southern China on Saturday, the Xinhua news agency reported.
At the time of the accident, which occurred at about 11 a.m. local time, 28 miners were located underground. Five were rescued.
The accident is currently under investigation.
