A Lithuanian Catholic exorcist group has called for a ban on a concert there by controversial U.S. shock rock star Marilyn Manson.
Manson, a reverend of the Church of Satan, is due to perform in Kaunas, the Baltic nation's second city, on June 12.
But Kaunas Mayor Andrius Kupčinskas said "preemptive measures" will be taken, after the National Association of Exorcists lodged a complaint with the city government.
Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, has been banned from playing in several U.S. venues since he began his musical carrer in the late 1980s.
