Estonian rescuers and armed police patrols are searching for a bear who was seen in one of the neighborhoods of Tallinn in the morning of Sunday, the Baltic internet portal Delfi said.
A vast area in Tallinn’s Pirita neighborhood has been cordoned off; search efforts continue.
First to notice the beast was Andres Tropp, a high-profile official from Estonia’s Eesti Energia energy company, who was roller-skating in a Tallinn park. The bear popped up just from nowhere, according to him, and later escaped to an unknown destination.
