Ukrainian opposition party Batkyvshchyna will move to dissolve parliament and call early elections, party leader Oleksandr Turchynov said on Monday.
Ukraine has no need for a parliament that simply votes as the president tells it to, he said.
“Ukraine has no need for such a Supreme Rada so our faction will submit to parliament a draft resolution on the early dissolution of parliament and holding early elections,” he said.
Presidential instructions are often “unlawful, anti-constitutional,” while the pro-presidential majority in parliament “is ready to vote for anything,” Turchynov said.
