Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has flown back to home from Cuba where he underwent second round of chemotherapy, Juventud Rebelde newspaper reported on Sunday.
Chavez, 57, underwent an operation in Cuba on June 20 to remove a cancerous tumor in his pelvic area.
On Twitter the Venezuelan president was jubilant. "Good morning, beloved homeland!" he wrote. "Here we are in full return. What a beautiful full moon to meet us at midnight!"
Cuban President Raul Castro accompanied his Venezuelan counterpart to the airport late Saturday to see him off, the report said.
