Anna Chapman, the Russian arrested in the United States on suspicion of spying for Russia, has not been invited to the Moscow premiere of Angelina Jolie's new spy film, a Sony official said on Wednesday.
Jolie will arrive in Moscow on July 25, the day of the premiere, to promote the film, Salt, where she plays a CIA officer accused of being a Russian spy.
The film comes shortly after ten Russian spies, including Chapman, 28, were exchanged for four U.S. spies in a deal with Washington.
However, the Sony spokesman said that rumors that Jolie wanted to invite Chapman to the premiere were "just tall-tales. We are not aware of anything like this."
