An order offering a cash reward for any information about the whereabouts of ousted Kyrgyz president Kurmanbek Bakiyev's relatives was signed by the head of Kyrgyz interim government on May 26 and published on the interim government's website on Friday.
The order aims to implement the "soonest possible arrest and trial of Bakiyev's relatives."
The sum of money on offer for the information was not specified, although the report did say that the Kyrgyz Finance Ministry has been ordered to put aside the necessary amount.
Bakiyev was forced to flee Kyrgyzstan after he was overthrown in a wave of bloody unrests in the country, in which more than 80 people died.
He has since taken refuge in Belrarus and the Kyrgyz interim government has demanded his extradition and launched criminal proceedings against him, blaming him and his relatives for the deaths of dozens people shot by security forces during the uprisings.
The Kyrgyz interim government appealed to Interpol on Thursday to detain Bakiyev. Earlier this week, the international police organization put several high-ranking Kyrgyz officials from Bakiyev's ousted government on its wanted list.
