Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will pay a working visit to Egypt on December 20-21 for talks with his Egyptian counterpart Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman said.
According to Andrei Nesterenko, the ministers will hold talks on Russian and Egyptian strategic dialogue issues. Lavrov will also meet with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and with League of Arab States Secretary General Amr Moussa.
The talks are aimed at agreements in bilateral partnerships.
Lavrov and Amr Moussa will sign a memorandum on the establishment of Russian and Arab cooperation forum.
