ASTANA, November 11 (RIA Novosti) - Ukraine is missing out on vast opportunities for cooperation with Kazakhstan, the Ukrainian Parliament Speaker said Friday.
"We could have a better result if we tapped into the potential of Kazakhstan and Ukraine to deepen our cooperation, primarily in the economic area," Volodymyr Lytvyn said after a meeting with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev in the capital of Astana.
Lytvyn said he hoped Nazarbayev's meetings with Ukrainian members of parliament during his upcoming visit to Kiev would "let us see what we shall do, including through parliament, to have [our] cooperation produce a better result."
