State tests of the Ka-52 Alligator attack helicopter’s full mission simulator, the KTE-52, have now been completed.
The new system simulates flight, navigation and combat missions.
Launched in the summer of 2011, the tests were carried out by experienced pilots and engineers from the Russian Defense Ministry’s State Flight Test Center. Experts assessed the quality of mathematical models describing flight, navigation and helicopter-control dynamics, as well as those of the visual system.
