The building of Moscow State University turned into a giant outdoor 4D cinema with a screen more than 25,000 square meters on City Day. The spectators who came on September 4 to Vorobyovy Gory in southwest Moscow saw a light show. During the show, the Moscow State University completely disappeared at first, then it was rebuilt, turned into a giant aquarium, then into a space port, and finally into the Eiffel Tower and Big Ben.
The show was organized by David Atkins’ team. He became famous for his work at the opening ceremonies of the Olympic Games in Vancouver and Sydney. Dozens of video projectors and visual equipment were brought for this show from several countries. The total length of the light rays was 40 km (25 miles) and about 5,000 pyrotechnic charges were set up on the building of the university.
