An unauthorized protest against the Belarusian Government’s economic policy was staged June 22 in Minsk.
On June 21, local social networks asked everyone to gather on central squares in every city in the country. Despite the warning issued by the Minsk Police Department not to take part in illegal protests, hundreds or even thousands of protesters, according to various estimates, gathered near Oktyabrskaya Square in the center of the Belarusian capital.
