The Innovation exhibition featuring masterpieces by nominees of the Sixth National Modern Visual Arts Contest has opened at the Moscow’s  State Center of Modern Art on March 28.
Exhibition organizers say it highlights the most interesting and significantly creative events of 2010. The exhibition features the best visual-arts projects selected by the contest’s expert council.
The installations “Show Trial” by Irina Korina and “Waiting Room” by Maxim Svishchyov were first shown at XL Gallery and subsequently recreated especially for the exhibition. Visitors can once again take a dip in the nameless 3D waves of the Siny Sup (Blue Soup) group or be scrutinized by the “Living Eye,” invented by the Kuda Begut Sobaki (Where the Dogs Run) creative association during experiments with ferromagnetic colloids. Visitors can also see photo documentation of the street art projects “Pr*** (expletive) Captured by the Federal Security Service” by the Voina (War) group and the “Your Move” intervention by artist Radya.
