The Severodvinsk, the first fourth-generation nuclear attack submarine to enter service with the Russian Navy, has powerful weapons systems, including supersonic cruise missiles and deep-sea homing torpedoes, for hitting underwater, surface and land targets. The submarine is also equipped with the latest telecommunications and navigation systems.
