Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said on Tuesday Iran's recent proposals to six world powers on global issues require careful analysis and no hasty conclusions should be made. "The proposals, presented by our Iranian colleagues on September 9, should be analyzed carefully before they can be described as containing nothing new," Medvedev told the Valdai Discussion Club.
Moscow is ready to discuss any issues with the United States, even those on which they strongly disagree, the Russian president said on Tuesday. "There is not a single topic that is off limits to us: We can discuss anything," Dmitry Medvedev told a meeting of the Valdai discussion group.
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev reiterated on Tuesday that he saw no possibility of restoring bilateral relations with Georgia under its current leader, Mikheil Saakashvili. "If we are talking about the present government meaning the current President Mikheil Saakashvili, it is an absolute no," Medvedev told a meeting of the Valdai Discussion Club in Moscow.
