WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — If Hillary Clinton becomes president of the United States, voters — including many of her supporters — doubt she will change the status quo in Washington, DC, a Pew Research Center survey revealed on Wednesday.

"Even voters who say they will support Clinton in a matchup against [Republican nominee Donald] Trump this fall say she’s unlikely to bring much change to the way things work in Washington," a press release accompanying the survey explained. "Well over half (58 percent) say this, while another 38 percent believe she will bring positive change."

Among Trump supporters 52 percent say Clinton will make things worse in the United States if elected president, compared with 42 percent who expect little or no change, the release said.

The survey also reflects the US partisan divide, with Democrats giving Clinton an overall grade of 73 out of a possible 100 points, compared with Republicans who give Clinton an average rating of 12.
