The third free practice session of the first Formula 1 Grand Prix to be hosted in Russia kicked off Saturday at the Sochi Autodrome.

MOSCOW, October 11 (RIA Novosti) - The third free practice session of the first Formula 1 Grand Prix to be hosted in Russia kicked off Saturday at the Sochi Autodrome.

Russia is represented at the competition by Daniil Kvyat of the Toro Rosso racing team. Another Russian driver, Sergei Sirotkin, took part in the first free practice session on Friday. This was the debut drive at a Grand Prix for 19-year-old Sirotkin, who was replacing Mexican driver Esteban Gutierrez on the Sauber team.

The Sochi Autodrome is 5.854 kilometers (2.637 miles) long and has 12 right turns and six left turns. The maximum speed that can be achieved on the track is expected to be about 320 km/h (199 mph). The Sochi Autodrome can seat 55,000 spectators.
