MOSCOW, August 15 (RIA Novosti) — UEFA’s disciplinary body has decided to punish Moscow’s Dinamo football club with a partial closure of its stands at a Europa League playoff match against Cyprus' Omonia, following Dinamo fans' racist behavior, R-Sport reported Friday, citing UEFA’s official website.

Dinamo plays Omonia on August 21 at the Khimki Arena outside Moscow.

The punishment comes after Dinamo fans were accused of racist behavior at a home game against Israel’s Hapoel Kiryat Shmona in a qualifying round on July 31 that ended with a score of 1-1.

On August 7, Kiryat Shmona suffered a 2-1 defeat to Dinamo in the second leg in Nicosia, Cyprus, where it was forced to host the match due to the security situation in Israel, losing 3-2 on aggregate to the Russian powerhouse.
