MOSCOW, November 22 (R-Sport) - Martin Skoula was on form with two assists as his team Lev Prague beat struggling Atlant Moscow Region 4-2 in the KHL.

Skoula, who won the Stanley Cup with the Colorado Avalanche in 2001, set up goals for lockout signing Jakub Voracek and Marcel Hossa as Lev grabbed a win Wednesday that takes the Czech team to eighth in the Western Conference.

Atlant has lost 12 of its last 13 games and is 12th in the same conference.

Lev’s other goals were scored by Jakub Klepis and Ondrej Nemec, while Alexei Mikhnov and Konstantin Koltsov hit the target for Atlant.

Elsewhere, Slovan Bratislava went down to a 4-1 defeat at home to Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod on Wednesday, with Martin Thornberg scoring twice for Torpedo.

Juus Hietanen and Vladimir Gazulin also scored for Torpedo, which won convincingly despite being outshot 31-29, while Tomas Mikus struck for Slovan.

The victors are fifth in the West, with Slovan seventh.

In Thursday’s only game, Amur Khabarovsk downed Sibir Novosibirsk 3-1 in an all-Eastern Conference matchup.

Amur’s forward Jakub Pertruzalek scored his team’s third goal to take his tally to six points in the last three games as Sibir saw its three-game winning streak snapped.
