Detroit Red Wings center Pavel Datsyuk scored to seal a 3-0 victory for his lockout team CSKA Moscow over Czech visitors Lev Prague 3-0.
Datsyuk was assisted by Denis Denisov and Toronto Maple Leafs center Mikhail Grabovski as he put CSKA three up Friday with four minutes elapsed in the third period.
The 34-year-old now has 12 points from 10 games with four goals.
CSKA first two goals came on powerplay, both of them scored by defensemen.
First, Yakov Rylov outplayed Lev goaltender Tomas Popperle nine seconds from the horn in the second period, with former Nashville Predators wing Alexander Radulov and Grabovski assisting him.
Radulov provided an assist again at the start of the third as Evgeny Ryasensky, who was in the Russia squad that claimed gold at the world championships in May, hit a goal.
Radulov, the 2009-10 MVP for the KHL, now leads the league in scoring points, with eight goals and 14 assists from 18 games.
CSKA goaltender Rastislav Stana stopped 33 shots for his third shutout of the season.
CSKA is fourth in the West six points behind leader SKA St. Petersburg, while Lev is eight on a six-game losing streak.
In the East, Metallurg Novokuznetsk edged Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk on home ice 5-4 after leading 4-1 on the half-hour mark with NHL No. 1 draft pick Nail Yakupov having a quiet game for the visitors.
Novokuznetsk is eight points behind leader Traktor Chelyabinsk and just inside the playoff zone, while Neftekhimik is one place below on ninth.
Elsewhere, Torpedo Nizhniy Novgorod beat Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg on the road 5-3 with Torpedo veteran Mikhail Varnakov, in the team since 2003, scoring twice, and Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk overcame KHL newcomer Donbass Donetsk 3-1 at home.
