Russia’s Mikhail Youzhny demolished Swedish wild card Patrik Rosenholm in the second round of the Stockholm Open on Thursday.

Sixth seed Youzhny met little resistance from the local player, ranked 436th in the world, securing a 6-0, 6-2 win in just over an hour.

Youzhny, 30, will play either second seed Tomas Berdych of Czech Republic or Estonia’s Jurgen Zopp in the quarterfinal.

Russia’s No. 1 Youzhny opted to play in Stockholm instead of the Kremlin Cup in Moscow, which he won in 2009.

The prize fund of the Stockholm Open is more than €480,000.
