Brazil's Thomaz Bellucci secured a place in the quarterfinals of the Kremlin Cup on Thursday with a straight sets with over Italy's Flavio Cipolla in the second round.
Fourth seed and world No. 41 Bellucci broke 85th-ranked Cipolla five times and saved four of five break points on his own serve on his way to the 6-4, 6-1 win.
Bellucci's next opponent is Poland's Jerzy Janowicz, who stunned seventh seed Carlos Berlocq earlier Thursday.
