Novak Djokovic completed a straight-sets win over German veteran Tommy Haas in their quarterfinal encounter at the Shanghai Masters on Friday.
The Serbian star won 6-3, 6-3, wobbling only at the start of the second set when Haas, ranked 21 in the world, managed to take a 2-0 lead.
In the semifinal, the world No. 2 will face fourth seed Tomas Berdych, who earlier defeated Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France.
Britain’s Andy Murray booked his place in the semifinals eliminating Radek Stepanek and now awaits the winner of the clash between world No. 1 Roger Federer and Croatia’s Marin Cilic.
