Second-half goals gave Anzhi Makhachkala a 2-0 away win at Dynamo Moscow on Sunday to stretch their lead at the top of the Russian Premier League to four points, in a match that saw both teams reduced to 10 men.

Yuri Zhirkov opened the scoring in the 76th minute, rounding off a neat attacking move to sweep the ball into the far corner from 15 yards.

Samuel Eto'o scored the second three minutes from time as he poked home after a perfect through pass from Mehdi Carcela-Gonzalez.

It cuts short Dynamo's mini revival; after losing their seven of their first eight games, the club had won their last two.

Anzhi played most of the match with 10 men after defender Joao Carlos was dismissed for a last-man foul on Dynamo striker Alexander Kokorin.

Dynamo defender Gordon Schildenfeld saw red on 52 minutes for handling the ball to prevent Eto'o running clear on goal.

Anzhi go to 26 points from 11 games, four ahead of Terek Grozny and five more than CSKA Moscow, who close the gap to two with a win against Spartak Moscow later Sunday.

Dynamo remain 13th on nine points.
