ST. PETERSBURG, September 29 (RIA Novosti)
Zenit St. Petersburg defender Nicolas Lombaerts played with a broken nose for the last 10 minutes of his team’s 1-1 draw with Lokomotiv Moscow on Saturday, Zenit masseur Sergei Kolesnikov told R-Sport.
Belgian defender Lombaerts suffered the injury in an aerial duel on 82 minutes and played the remainder of the game.
Zenit coach Luciano Spalletti had already used all of his substitutions.
Kolesnikov did not say whether the injury could keep Lombaerts out of Zenit's Champions League game at home to AC Milan on Wednesday.
