MOSCOW, September 26 (RIA Novosti)
A Russian Cup match between Torpedo Moscow and Dynamo Moscow was interrupted for 10 minutes on Wednesday after fans threw pyrotechnics onto the pitch.
After two firecrackers had been hurled from the Torpedo stands, the referee ordered the teams off the field of play with Dynamo leading 1-0 and half an hour gone.
They emerged about 10 minutes later after the team captains pleaded with their respective sets of supporters to behave, and play was restarted.
Scuffles had erupted among the fans outside the stadium in the run-up to the game, though a police source told RIA Novosti that no one was hurt.
