MOSCOW, August 31 (RIA Novosti)
Spartak Moscow defender Sergio Rodriguez Garcia has signed a two-year deal with Rayo Vallecano, the Spanish side announced Friday.
The 28-year-old center back, known also as Rodri, played 28 games and scored once for Spartak since joining for a reported fee of €400,000 from second-tier Spanish side Hercules in March 2011.
He left the Russian club on a free transfer, Rayo Vallecano said in a website statement.
The Madrid-based side have made a good start to the 2012-13 season, lying third in La Liga with two wins in two games.
