KHL star forward Mikhail Anisin will not return to the champion team Dynamo Moscow after the summer break, his agent told R-Sport on Thursday.

The diminutive forward notched up 14 points and five assists in the playoffs as Dynamo won its first Gagarin Cup and soon afterwards finalized a permanent move to Dynamo from Vityaz Chekhov after the Moscow team bought his rights.

"He really hasn't arrived for the training camp. And will not arrive," the player's agent Vyacheslav Makhrenski told RIA Novosti.

However, the agent denied claims from Dynamo representatives that Anisin is demanding the club give him an eightfold wage increase to a reported $2 million a year.

"That's a lie," Makhrenski said.

The agent refused to comment when asked if Anisin is in negotiations with any other clubs.

The Dynamo roster was supposed to meet Wednesday for a detailed medical examination.

A spokesman for the team told R-Sport on Thursday that officials were unsure why Anisin was not there.

“People are trying to get in contact with him to investigate the situation and understand the reasons for his absence,” he said.

Anisin, 24, has had a nomadic professional career, starting out at now-defunct Khimik Voskresensk in 2005 and passing through five other clubs before arriving at Vityaz.

In 194 KHL games, Anisin has notched up 112 points, recording a personal record scoring percentage in 2011-12, with 33 goals and 21 assists in 70 games.
