MOSCOW, June 16 (RIA Novosti)
Russia basketball team suffered a narrow defeat to Greece on Saturday in a warm-up match for the Olympic qualification tournament.
Greece scraped a 66-63 win after storming ahead in the second quarter by going 23-10.
The Russians won their first friendly against Macedonia 80-61 on Thursday.
Further warm-up games in the United States against Lithuania and Britain await Russia.
Russia failed to qualify outright for the Olympics after losing to France at the semifinal stage of EuroBasket 2011.
The Olympic qualifying tournament will see 12 teams fight for the last three Olympic places.
It will take place in Caracas, Venezuela from July 2 through 8.
