A documentary film by Russia goalkeeper Vyacheslav Malafeev giving insight into the goalkeeping trade and featuring first-hand stories from its leading exponents hits domestic television screens this weekend.

"All Life in Gloves" is a 50-minute film produced by the 33-year-old Zenit St. Petersburg goalkeeper and directed by Marina Kangur.

Among interviewees delivering tips on how to get into the profession are Italy's Gianluigi Buffon, the Netherlands' Edwin van der Sar, Spain's Iker Casillas, Germany's Jens Lehmann as well as Soviet great Rinat Dasaev.

"We are on the final straight," Malafeev said. "After two years worth of productive work, we are ready to present the piece to our viewers," he added.

More than 100 million Russians can tune in for Sunday's premiere on state network Channel One.

Trailers including humorous outtakes of Casillas trying to promote the film in Russian have racked up over a million hits on YouTube.

He said the idea for making a film came after co-authoring the "Goalkeeper" in 2009 with his first coach, Vladimir Savin.

Malafeev is vying for a place in the starting lineup for Friday's Euro 2012 opener against the Czech Republic with CSKA Moscow rival Igor Akinfeev.

Malafeev won a second consecutive Russian Premier League title with Zenit this year in a season overshadowed by the tragic death of his wife Marina in a car accident.
