Italy defender Domenico Criscito has denied reports linking him with AC Milan, reportedly saying that he is happy at Zenit St. Petersburg in comments published Saturday.

Criscito has been at Zenit for just ten months since joining from Genoa in June, but has been heavily linked with a move to Milan in the Italian media his week after a series of strong performances.

But the 25-year-old said he had not been contacted by Milan.

“I’ve heard nothing about that. I’m a Zenit player. I feel absolutely comfortable here,” he said in an interview with Russia’s Sport Den Za Dnem newspaper.

“What’s important for me is what’s here in Petersburg, everything’s working out well for me. And, to be honest, I don’t see any reason to change anything.”

Criscito has scored once in 27 appearances for Zenit. He has 19 caps for Italy and played at the 2010 World Cup.
